Giving Back
2020 Fire Protection’s staff know we live in the lucky country. We also know that the world doesn’t just revolve around business. For this reason, we support a number of charities that give back to people that are less fortunate.
Here’s an overview & some links:
Febuary 2010: we supported our staff in FebFast which contributes to reducing the impact of alcohol and other drugs on young Australians.
May 16th 2010: Two of our staff ran the Sydney Morning Herald Half-Marathon in support of the Henry, Jasper and Evan Smith cause which contributes all money raised to The Royal Hospital for Women Foundation. Our staff raised over $2,000 for this cause & the team of 200+ we ran with raised over $80,000. a fantastic outcome!
June 2010: For the 2nd year running, our staff supported the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation Gold Week event by hosting a charity lunch. Our fund-raising page was: http://www.gofundraise.com.au/ManLunch2010 & we raised over $2,000 for the Sydney Childrens Hospital. The attendees also had a fantastic day out!
July 2010: we supported the Dragons ABreast team through everyday hero in their support of Breast Cancer research
August 2010: we have contributed to teams running in the Sun Herald City to Surf & a team running in the Half Marathon for Cantoo
